Alyssa is growing so quickly! She is two months old, and we go in tomorrow for her first set of shots. I am one scared Mom. Especially with this being my first child, and first visit to the pediatrician to get shots! I wonder how she'll handle it... I went to the store today and bought some Infants Tylenol for her to give to her before we go, so hopefully it helps her. She has been all smiles recently, and I try to catch every one. Sometimes I just can't grab the camera quick enough. I have a lot of fune with her, and try not to think that I will be going back to work in less than a week. I only have to work 3 days though which is better than 4! I'll be working Monday, Thursday, and Friday. Which I think is the perfect schedule! We'll see how it works out though. Will report on the shots tomorrow!

Look at our little girl! I love to make her smile, but can never seem to get the photo at the exact time that I want! Though, I did get some good pictures. The time to go back to work is getting closer, and I do not wanna go. I don't wanna miss these smiles! Wish me luck! Enjoy her smiles!

Belly Time!

Alyssa needs belly time! I have such a hard time putting her on her belly b/c I wanna hold her all the time! So, I have to tell myself to stop holding her, and put her on her belly so she can work those neck muscles! Yesterday, she got about half an hour on her belly, and I think in a day she is supposed to have about 2 hours altogether. He he. I need to get better. Hopefully today we can get 45 min to an hour. She has her appt to get her shots in about a week, and I DO NOT want to bring her. I hope Jesse has that day off, b/c she has the saddest face you will ever see when she cries or pouts.

Our little family

Alyssa was blessed yesterday with all of her cousins there! All of our family was in town the past few days, and it was a lot of fun. We do the usual trip to Macayo's. We met at church an hour early and took a bunch of pictures before Dustin leaves to Afghanistan. We were so worried that Alyssa would cry during the blessing because she's been a little fussy lately, but she was so good up there. And, was so beautiful in her dress. I love being her Mom! Jesse gave her a beautiful blessing. We are so blessed to be together as a family, and everyday I think of how grateful I am. Thank you everyone who came out to see Alyssa be blessed!

So, we planned on having a house full of people last night, but then Mom and Dustin couldn't come. Then Bev and her family didn't come. Then Holly and Charlie didn't come. So, it was just me, Jesse, Alyssa, Tracee, and Norbert. Before Midnight, they all fell asleep. I was sneaky and took pictures so I could show everyone how I celebrated New Years. I should say though, that they woke up 90 seconds before the decade was over. But, then they fell right back asleep. Lamewads. The only one I can't blame is Alyssa. That poor girl was awake all day from all the Dr Pepper I drank! Never do that again! Until I'm done nursing. So, Alyssa is going to be blessed this Sunday, and ALL the family is going to be here. We're really excited to have everyone here! I'll be posting more pics with the family here. We hope everyone has a Happy New Year!
