So most of you know that we were renting a cabin this year for my entire family to stay in. It was a lot of fun. I don't think I held Alyssa besides when I fed her the entire 3 days I was in Utah. Nice break, but I still wanted to hold her! Santa made a special visit to our cabin, and I was just about run over when the kids saw him. Though the cabin was fun, it is always nice to get back home. Now I have to start thinking about going back to work. Someone is gonna have to drag me in cause I DO NOT want to go back to work. I wanna stay home with Little Lyssy. She's a sweetheart. Alright, Hope everyone had a great Holiday Season. Now, enjoy the new year!

Bath Time!

Alyssa absolutely hates the bath...by herself. We decided to put her in the bath with one of us to see how she liked it. She loved it, so this may be the way that we have to bathe her from now on. Jesse was having so much fun that he wants to keep giving her baths now. I have to remind him that she doesn't need a bath that often...we don't want her to dry out. :) Loving bath time now!

Just about a month

Brendt taking a look at his wee little niece....

She's pondering....

Those pants kinda look like Grandpa pants with how high they are pulled up!

The sleepy girl with Santa Claus!

Going on to a month old, it's fun to see how big she is getting. The thing that pops out to me when I look at her, are her eyes. They're so alert, and I can just tell that she is just soaking everything in when she's awake. One of my favorite things to do is to move from side to side as her eyes follow me. Makes me laugh, though I'm sure she's wondering what on earth I am doing. I love it. We went and got her picture taken with Santa on the 12 at Cumorah. We put her in her snowman outfit which she hated, but then promptly fell asleep while we took her picture! She still gets really gassy, and just on Sunday with the primary kids, she let out a BIG one! It was really funny. The kids couldn't stop laughing. We do have a Christmas Party with Jesse's Mom's side of the family tonight, so now I have to look for a proper outfit to show her off in, and keep her warm and comfortable at the same time. Who knew that being a Mom would be so hard, but at the same time a lot of fun. I always have to remember her Mylichon when we leave the house. Because I cannot stand to see her cry. Anyway, I'll post more after tonight's party, just wanted to say hello.

Alyssa getting her 2nd bottle feeding from Daddy. We finally pumped to give Mom a break!

Alyssa on her car ride home from the hospital! Thought she was so pretty, but was so scared to be alone for the first time without a nurse right down the hall!

Beautiful Baby Girl!

2 weeks old!

My little girl is the most precious thing! I wake up so excited to see her everyday, tired..yes. But, I love to be her Mom. I have job satisfaction from home! She doesn't really cry at all except for when I didn't pick up on a feeding cue, or when she is really gassy. So, now I am cutting out certain things from my diet, and slowly working them back in to see what is giving her gas. We had a hard time nursing at first, but have slowly been picking up on it together. I love being a Mom, and knowing that Jesse and I can take care of her, and provide for her, and love her, and teach her. It is exciting. Jesse and I have been tired, but we have had a lot of help to get us through each day. We have both had family show up, and ward members more than willing to help us with meals, cleaning, and emotional support. Thank you everyone who has come, and made this as easy as possible. We love you all!
