32 weeks

So, now that September is almost over I'm starting to get really excited. October is in, what, 2 days! That means only 8 more weeks til Alyssa is due to be here! I can't wait. I'm running out of things to wear, and end up wearing the same things all the time! I have gained 14lbs so far!
I posted a pic of some flowers that Jesse brought home for me. He is so cute, and these are the most beautiful flowers I have ever received!
I also started decorating for the Fall/Halloween season on the first week of September b/c it was making me feel that Alyssa would be here soon...it helps me with my mindset. The nursery is just about finished now, just some final touch ups and then I'll post some pictures. We have no furniture yet, so I'll just be posting the pictures of the cool paint job. Hope everyone is doing well.

Another Season

And so it starts... All I have heard about for the last few months is the Cowboys. Jesse and his stinking cowboys. It makes me smile sometimes, but then sometimes I feel sooooo ignored! "Felix Jones" this, and "Marion Barber" that. It doesn't stop. Still, gotta love it. I hope they have a good year! Anyways, when I got home from church today (Jesse was sick) , I find that instead of them airing the Cowboys and Buccaneers game, they are airing the Vikings and the Browns game!! You think Jesse was a little ticked? Well, after he got on the phone with the satellite company about purchasing some sort of sports package, he was informed that it is already a part of our package. But, for some reason he was unable to access it. Lame. Really..is the only reason they were airing that Vikings/Browns game because Brett Favre was playing? I'm with everyone...I like Brett Favre, but enough is enough. When will that man retire? Who in their right mind wants to watch the Browns play? He He. I know what you're all thinking... what do I know about sports ? Not a lot, but I don't like the Browns. I know that. I have stupid reasons for not liking or liking a team for that matter. But that's just how it is. Anyway, I took a picture of this little outfit I bought for Alyssa so she can wear it for her daddy's team! Go Cowboys!

Pics from 28 weeks

Big Bear Lake

Talk about the most relaxing vacation ever! We did nothing when we were in Big Bear Lake, and have never had more fun. We arrived there Tuesday at noon, and left Saturday morning. The main portion of our days was spent in bed playing war! Jesse beat me almost every game! And, I have never played such long games of War in my life! I swear one game lasted about 2 hours. We didn't really start our day until about 930 every morning when we would get up, and go right out for breakfast. We would take a walk down to the lake after that, immediately followed by an hour or two in the cabin. Then on to lunch, and a drive around some of the smaller towns up there, followed by another hour or two in the cabin. Nothing crazy, just a lot of relaxation! I loved this little ol' cabin that we stayed in. There was a little section of town called The Village where there was lots of shops for tourists that we liked to walk around as well. We found this little arcade where they had fun games like Donkey Kong Jr, Dig Dug, Frogger, Streetfighter, and games like that. After I suggested spending some time there, I knew it was a mistake once Jesse got on that Streetfighter game! Boy, can't get him away from it. :) If anyone has ever been to the City of Big Bear Lake, they will know what I'm talking about when I say that I was not real happy when we left Barstow to head up the Mountain. Everywhere was desert! I just kept thinking, "If this place is desert, I'm going home!" I did not want to spend our vacation in the desert....We live in the desert! I wanted cool Mountain air, and a little green around. Turns out once we go up this crazy jagged mountain, and pass Baldwin lake, it turns green! I was so happy, and even happier when I saw that there was a Rite Aid up there for some nice Thrifty ice cream. Most of you reading this will know that we no longer have Rite Aids in the State of Nevada, so you see my excitement! On Thursday night we discovered this place called Teddy Bear Restaurant. I was loving it, and you can see from the picture above, that Jesse was too~ I had a stuffed meatloaf, and he had this ginormous chicken pot pie. We shared a chocolate shake, and a peach cobbler as well! Loved that place. I'm pretty sure that I gained at least 5 lbs on this trip thanks to that place! That's all I have to say for now. Loved the vacation, and hope everyone is doing well!
